WSA International Partners

Thematic framework of initiatives implemented in cooperation with international partners includes efforts toward;

• • Women’s social empowerment and education for e better balanced roles in family, farm and natural resources;
• • Increased level of awareness among the communities of rural women on small entrepreneurship initiative, in order to reduce rural poverty and improve economic mobility;
• • Supplying women groups with a set of skills to enable them process food products; building their capacities to organise themselves in nucleuses or productive networks, to promote the products crafted by them, as well as to access domestic markets;
• • Institutional strengthening and capacity building, aimed at ensuring a more comprehensive approximation of WSA goals with environment, which is significantly interconnected with agriculture and women’s role to both sectors;
• • Conservation and management of endangered locally adopted crop varieties; Sustainable use of plant genetic autochthonous resources;
